Over her career, Leanne has worked in numerous settings including hospitals, community mental health centres and within the correctional system.
With a background in forensic psychology, Leanne has worked within the legal system addressing individual needs such as anger management, drug and alcohol issues, crisis management, suicide and self harming behaviours and personality disorders.

Her clinical knowledge and experience is complimented by her work in hospitals and mental health settings, working with issues such as medication and diagnosis, anxiety and mood disorders, psychotic disorders, self esteem, identity and substance abuse.
Industry registration.
Leanne is a fully registered psychologist and has been registered with the Psychology Board of Australia since 2006. She is also a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (APPi), a governing body that is committed to maintaining the standard and reputation of the psychology discipline and profession in Australia.

Her approach to counselling focuses on the individual, working together with the client to develop achievable and realistic goals.
Counselling is about learning that life is not about what you do but who you are and this involves addressing both current situations and past behaviours.
Leanne utilises an integrated, eclectic approach and has experience in providing cognitive behavioural therapy, interpersonal therapy, mindfulness techniques, solution focused therapy and practical based interventions.
